Microdermabrasion Acne Scar
This new technique is a surface form of dermabrasion. Rather than a high-speed brush, microdermabrasion uses aluminum oxide crystals passing through a vacuum tube to remove surface skin. Only the very surface cells of the skin are removed, so no additional wound is created. Multiple procedures are often required but scars may not be significantly improved.

No. Most patients feel very little discomfort.
Are there any limitations after treatment?
You can return to your normal, daily activities after treatment. Depending on the degree and depth of each treatment, your skin may have a temporary pink coloration that could last from a few hours to two or three days depending on the strength of the peel. And you can usually apply make-up the next day.

An average treatment takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Of course, the larger the area, the longer a treatment may take.
